Our story
Why we're building Crowd Save The World
Most of us have felt it: you read about a problem in your own neighborhood, you feel something, you scroll on. The feed rewards the reaction, not the follow-through.
Crowd Save The World starts from a different question: what would a social app look like if its whole job were to get people to show up?
Built for the part after the post
On most platforms, a post is the finish line. On Crowd Save The World it's the starting line. Someone posts a problem, like a river full of plastic, a shelter short on coats or a park that needs trees. Others raise a hand to help. A date gets set. People meet, do the work and share what changed.
That's why the app is built around three things you can actually do together:
- Journeys: a cause or project you can join, from a single cleanup to a year-long effort.
- Events: real meetups with a time, a place and a "Reserve a spot" button.
- Stories: photos, short videos and World Saver TV, so the good work is seen and copied.
What we won't do
We'd rather earn your trust than your attention. So a few promises from day one:
- We never sell your personal data.
- Your private messages stay private.
- Fundraising goes through each journey's own GoFundMe. Crowd Save The World never holds the money and takes no cut.
- Our feed is designed to surface people doing things, not to keep you angry or scrolling.
Who it's for
Everyone who'd rather do something than just watch. Members are called Voyagers. The people who start and run a journey are Journey Keepers. And a small group of trusted Guides, chosen by our team, share causes with the whole world.
The app arrives in English and Spanish first, with a built-in translate button so a post from Medellín can inspire a crew in Detroit.
We're opening the doors soon. If this sounds like the place you've been looking for, join the waiting list and be one of the first Voyagers.
